SMU Begins Spring Season with Metroplex Mania

The Mustangs will host BYU, North Texas and Georgia State.
DALLAS (SMU) – The SMU Women's Tennis team will open the spring season with Metroplex Mania Friday through Monday at the SMU Tennis Complex, Turpin Stadium & Brookshire Family Pavilion. The Mustangs competed in six tournaments in the fall.
Metroplex Mania will begin Friday at 9 a.m. with two doubles matches between the Mustangs and the three participating schools: North Texas, BYU and Georgia State. Singles will follow, with SMU facing BYU and Georgia State playing North Texas.
Saturday's schedule begins at 10 a.m. and features the remaining combinations of doubles play in addition to singles matchups of SMU against North Texas and Georgia State against BYU.
Sunday and Monday feature one singles match and one doubles match each. The Mustangs face Georgia State in singles on Saturday, and will take on BYU in doubles to finish their tournament play on Monday.
