DALLAS (SMU) -- The SMU men's swimming and diving team takes on Northwestern Saturday at 12 p.m. CT at the Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center and Barr-McMillion Natatorium. It will serve as Senior Day for 13 Mustangs, with ceremonies beginning at approximately 11:45 a.m. Live results and video can be found at SMUMustangs.com/live and on the Meet Mobile App.

Nick Badsky, Justin Bertelsman, Max Bryant, Jake Camp, Brad Dorsey, Jonathan Gomez, Tristan Hejny, Bryce Klein, Bartosz Krzyzaniak, David Li, Grayson Magruder, Stefan Popov and Christian Scherubl will be recognized for their contributions to the program.

The Mustang men are led by a pair of NCAA provisional cuts from Gomez (200 fly) and Krzyzaniak (100 back). The team is 1-2 in dual action with a 184-114 victory over Metroplex rival TCU on Oct. 25. For their efforts, three Mustangs have earned American Athletic Conference weekly awards. Gomez leads the way with a pair, while Krzyzaniak and Klein each have one.

Northwestern is 3-6 in dual action this season with wins over Chicago, UIC and Southern Illinois. The Wildcats opened the season with three straight losses and suffered a setback to Mizzou, a team SMU fell to on Jan. 5. Northwestern finished 5-8 overall and ninth at the Big Ten Championships in 2017 and tied for 28th at the NCAA Championships.
BACK ON THE HILLTOP

Building on a legacy of proud Olympians, world records and 155 national titles, SMU broke ground on the new Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center and Barr-McMillion Natatorium on Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, and hosted the facility opener Nov. 3, 2017. The 42,000 square foot center is home to SMU's internationally-recognized men's and women's swimming and diving teams. Located at 5550 SMU Blvd. on the University's growing east campus, the center provides facilities for practice, competition and community use. The Aquatics Center features an Olympic-sized, eight-lane indoor pool with a platform diving area, including four springboards and a 10-meter tower for training and competition. Coaches' offices, men's, women's and visitor locker rooms and a classroom and meeting area are located adjacent to the pool. Spectator seating for 800 is on the mezzanine level.

For the first time as a member of the American Athletic Conference, the Mustangs will host the men's and women's Conference Championships, Feb. 14-17, at the Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center and Barr-McMillion Natatorium.
