DALLAS (SMU) – SMU diver Bryce Klein will represent the Mustangs at the 2018 NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championships March 21-24 at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota.
Klein qualified for the Championships with an eighth place finish on 1 meter at the Zone D Championships at Minnesota earlier this month. With the automatic qualification, Klein is eligible to compete on 3 meter this week having posted a top-12 finish at Zones.
This will be Klein's first trip back to the NCAA Championships since 2016, when he advanced to the 3 meter Consolation Final. Klein is a four-time NCAA Zones qualifier, a six-time American Athletic Conference champion and a 10-time all-conference selection. He holds both the SMU and AAC records on 1 and 3 meter.
Springboard competition is scheduled for Thursday and Friday.
