The Mustangs will take on No. 12 seed Temple (10-7, 2-1 American) in the first round on Wednesday, April 18, at 12 p.m. at Turpin Stadium.
Â
SMU (14-8, 3-4 American) enters the tournament on a six-match win streak that includes defeats of conference rivals Tulane, East Carolina and Houston. The team is led by junior
Ana Perez-Lopez, who is 14-6 with wins in her last five decisions.
Karina Traxler follows with a 13-5 record and conference player of the week honors for the week of April 10.

The tournament will run simultaneously with the men's championship at the SMU Tennis Complex and the Crum Tennis Courts. Â
Parking for fans and visitors is available at the Binkley Parking Center and the Meadows Parking Center on campus and the Mockingbird Station garage.
