DALLAS (SMU) –  SMU Women's Tennis Head Coach Kelcy McKenna announced the 2025 fall schedule for the Mustangs, featuring 12 tournaments and the NCAA Singles & Doubles Championships. 

To open the season, select Mustangs will travel to Houston for the Rice Invitational on Sept. 19-21.

Next is the ITA All-American Championships, which will take place in Cary, N.C. from Sept. 20-28. A few Mustangs will also be competing in the ACU Invitational in Abilene, Texas, on Sept. 26-28.

From Oct. 6 to Oct. 16, select Mustangs will head to Redding, California, Edmond, Oklahoma and Quebec City, Canada for the ITF W35 Redding, W100 Edmond and W35 Quebec City events. Those events are overlapped by the ITA Texas Regional that occurs from Oct. 9-15 in College Station.

Two more ITF events follow as select Mustangs will take part in the W100 Tyler and the W100 Irapuato, held in Tyler, Texas, and Irapuato, Mexico, from Oct. 20 to Nov. 2. The Thunderbird Invitational in Tempe, Arizona, overlaps the two ITF events from Oct. 23 to Nov. 2.

The ITA Sectionals and Conference Masters both run from Nov. 6-9 in College Station, Texas and San Diego, California, respectively. The fall women's tennis season ends across the country in Orlando, Florida, at the NCAA Singles & Doubles Championships from Nov. 18-23.

ITA All-American Championship
The ITA All-American Championship features 10 singles players and four doubles teams who will qualify for the NCAA Singles & Doubles Championship. 

ITA Texas Regional Championship
The ITA Texas Regional Championship features two singles finalists from each region who will compete in the NCAA Singles Championship, while the doubles champion will go straight into the NCAA Doubles Championship.

ITA Conference Masters
Four singles players will qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship, while three doubles teams will compete in the NCAA Doubles Championship.
