DALLAS (SMU) - SMU Women's Tennis and head coach Kelcy McKenna have announced the signing of Luca Udvardy to the 2026-27 roster.
The Balatonakarattya, Hungary native, becomes a Mustang after a rookie season at Oklahoma State, where she was an All-Big 12 Freshman Team selection.
Udvardy currently holds an 11.10 UTR, a career-high WTA ranking of 474, and a career-best ITF junior ranking of 14.
Arriving in Stillwater in the spring, Udvardy went 8-1 in singles action, winning her final eight decisions after an early two-tiebreaker-set loss in February.
Udvardy went 10-1 in doubles at Oklahoma State, opening the spring with nine straight victories on courts two and three.
Prior to her freshman season, she made appearances at all four Junior Grand Slams and reached the singles final at the 2022 Wimbledon Juniors. Udvardy collected two singles titles and 10 doubles titles during her junior career while adding five singles titles and two doubles titles on the professional tour, most recently winning the ITF W35 Orlando in November of 2025.
Udvardy joins Brooklyn Olson in the 2026 transfer class for SMU.
