DALLAS (SMU) - SMU travels to New Jersey on Saturday for the final regular season regatta of the year, competing at the Cherry Hill Invitational on the Cooper River. 

The regatta kicks off with the first varsity eight race at 6:30 a.m. central time. SMU will be competing in the first and second varsity eights as well as the first, second, and third varsity fours.

First and second place in each heat plus the next two fastest overall times from each heat advance to grand finals. The remaining boats compete in the petite final. 

The Mustangs will be competing against Bucknell, UConn, Fordham, Georgetown, Holy Cross, Jacksonville, Lehigh, Marist, MIT, and Rutgers. 

Saturday's regatta will serve as a tuneup for the conference championships on May 12 as it will also be held in Cherry Hill on the Cooper River.
