WACO, Texas (SMU) –Cassie Ackemann's fourth-place in the high jump led the Mustangs at Saturday's Baylor Invitational. She was joined by throwers Tochi Nlemchi and Daniella Murchison at the meet in hopes of gaining practice for the rest of outdoor season.

Ackemann cleared 1.64m (5-4.50) to earn fourth out of 12. The freshman looks to follow up her indoor all-conference finish in high jump during her first season on the Hilltop.

With temperatures dipping into the 40s, Nlemchi and Murchison took on the hammer throw and did not start in shot put or discus as originally slated. Nlemchi took sixth in the hammer with a throw of 49.66 (162-11.00). Murchison earned 15^th with a mark of 40.01m (131-3.00).
