DALLAS, Texas (SMU) -- The Mustangs will compete at the Charlie Thomas Invitational in College Station this weekend.  

This meet will bring the first pentathlon of the year for SMU with Renee Finke and Brentley Preston scheduled to compete in the five events. The competition will begin at 11:20 a.m. on Friday with the 60m hurdles and conclude with the 800 at 3:45 p.m. The field events and running events will begin at 5 p.m. The meet will continue for day two on Saturday afternoon. 

This is one of two regular indoor meet weekends remaining for SMU before the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships, and each week is an opportunity to meet the ACC qualifying standards.
