DALLAS, Texas (SMU) -- SMU Track and Field is back in action and will open their outdoor 2026 season close to home at TCU's Alumni Invitational. 

The meet will consist of teams from the Big 12, SEC, MAC, the American, the SWAC and SMU representing the ACC – as well as athletes from all divisions and professional athletes. 

SMU will compete in the high jump at 10 a.m. on Friday morning and resume competition on Saturday at 9 a.m. with the 5,000. This is an opportunity for local Mustang fans to cheer on the SMU athletes. Admission is free for all to attend.
