ITA All-American Championships Qualifying Draws

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. (SMU) – SMU women's tennis senior Karina Traxler competed in the 2018 Riviera/ITA All-American Championships at the Riviera Tennis Club on Saturday.

Traxler won her first match in the Pre-Qualifying Singles draw, defeating LSU's Anna Loughlan in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6 (3). The Rockwell, Texas native fell in the next round of qualifying to Oklahoma State's Lisa Marie Rioux 6-0, 6-1.

The Mustangs return to action for their first home event of the season, the SMU Invitational hosted at the SMU Tennis Complex from Oct. 5-7.
