DALLAS (SMU) – The Mustangs fell, 120-83, to No. 10 Texas A&M at the Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center and Barr-McMillion Natatorium Friday evening. With the loss, SMU drops to 3-2 in dual action this season, while the Aggies improve to 5-3.
Friday night also served as senior night for six Mustangs.

Trey Kilbride,
Kianu Kitching,
Carson Klein and
Lucas Schenke were honored in a pre-meet ceremony.
SMU opened the evening with a season-best 3:17.66 in the 400-yard medley relay for the win.
Matan Segal,
Connor Dalbo, Golczyk and Schenke teamed up for the victory. The Mustangs also picked up first-place points in the closing 400-yard freestyle relay from
Ralph Koo,
Matthew Nutter,
Jesse Washington and Schenke.
Segal lead a trio of Mustangs to a sweep in the 200-yard backstroke, clocking in at 1:46.57.
Stephen Cheng and Kilbride finished second and third, respectively. Dalbo also picked up an event win, pacing the field in the 200-yard breaststroke with a season-best 2:00.48. Kitching was third in the race.
SMU picked up top-three finishes from Klein (200 free), Koo (50 free) and
Wyatt Cronk (1,000 free).
The Mustangs are back in action for a pre-conference time trial event Feb. 9. The American Athletic Conference Championships take place Feb. 27-March 2 in Indianapolis, Indiana, and NCAA action kicks off with Zone Diving March 11-13.
