KANE'OHE, Hawai'i (SMU) – The SMU women's golf team will compete at the Kane'ohe Klipper Golf Course for the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational on March 12-13.
The 54-hole tournament, over the course of two days, is hosted by Hawai'i, from par-72 course on the island of O'ahu. Competition begins with a shotgun start on both days at 1:30 p.m. CT. Thirty-six holes will be played on the first day. The final 18 holes will be played on Wednesday.
"We are really excited to play," said
Jeanne Sutherland. "The golf course is in great shape and we've had some good and focused practice."
The Field: The Mustangs are competing against the defending champions of the tournament, No. 2 Texas as well as Gonzaga, Hawai'i, Houston Baptist, North Texas, Northern Colorado, Seattle, Texas A&M, UC Irvine, UTEP and Washington State.
