KNOXVILLE (SMU) – Mustang divers wrapped up action at the Tennessee Diving Invite in Knoxville Sunday, with
Johanna Holloway earning the feature performance of the three-day event on 3 meter.
The sophomore placed ninth in the event's final with an NCAA Zone qualifying 280.55. Holloway finished the weekend in the top 20 in all three events, earning a 14th place finish on platform (213.75) and an 18th place finish on 1 meter (240.00).
Freshman
Nicole Stambo also had a solid weekend for the Mustangs, producing season-best scores on both 3 meter and platform. Her 202.35 on platform was good for 18th, while her 269.65 placed her 20th on 3 meter. Stambo also finished 15th on 1 meter (241.60).
Katie Crown picked up her highest finish of the event on 3 meter, placing 16th with a six-round 275.40, while
Taylor Ohlhauser was 19th on 1 meter (239.95) and 31st on 3 meter (234.75).
The invitational included competition from Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, ECU, Iowa State, LSU, Minnesota, NC State, Princeton, Tennessee and Virginia.
The Mustangs are back in action Thursday when they host No. 19 Texas A&M at 5 p.m. at The Nat.
