LAST TIME OUT
SMU kicked off the spring season with a big 13-5 win over No. 2 Oklahoma State. After barely falling to the Cowgirls in Flat and tying in Horsemanship, OSU led by one at the halfway point. The Mustangs went on to sweep OSU 4-0 in Fences and 5-0 in Reining competition. The Fences win was the first event win of the season.

THIS WEEK'S LINEUP
The Flat lineup against Texas A&M will consist of Mary Elizabeth Cordia, Madison Johnson, Miranda Seade, Olivia Woodson and Vivian Yowan. After a stellar 4-0 performance last week, Brett Burlington, Tali DeJong, Devin Seek, Olivia Woodson and Vivian Yowan will be competing again in Fences. The Mustangs have only lost one Horsemanship matchup this season and return the same athletes to compete against the Aggies: Aubrey Alderman, Lily Anderson, Payton Neiberger, Mallory Vroegh and Megan Waldron. The Reining lineup of Aubrey Alderman, Holly Lansidel, Dani Latimer, Jill Pfisthner, and Taylor Zimmerman wraps up SMU's side of the drawsheet.

SCOUTING THE AGGIES
Texas A&M comes to Dallas with a 3-4 record for the season. The Aggies have secured wins versus TCU, at Georgia and home versus Georgia in a tiebreaker so far. Texas A&M lost by raw score in its spring opener last weekend at South Carolina after tying with the Gamecocks 10-10.

SERIES HISTORY
Texas A&M leads the series with SMU with a 4-10 record. When competing at home, the Mustangs lead with a 3-2 record over the Aggies. The two faced off in the spring of 2019 in College Station where Texas A&M won by a slim 11-9 margin though SMU had the advantage in raw score.
