LAST TIME OUT
SMU finished off its fall campaign with an 11-9 win over then-No. 4 South Carolina. The Mustangs defeated the Gamecocks in Flat, Horsemanship and Reining and went on to claim MOP honors in all three events. The contest had been even when Reining began. With it all coming down to the last two riders,
Dani Latimer's 70.5 earned a point after her South Carolina opponent scored a 69.0 to secure SMU's win.

The Flat lineup sees a new face in
Devin Seek as she makes her Flat appearance this season. She will be joined by

SCOUTING THE COWGIRLS
Oklahoma State finished the fall with a 6-2 overall record. The two loses came from Auburn in Martin, Tenn. and at Fresno State. The Cowgirls also ended their fall season with a win over South Carolina, just one day after SMU defeated the Gamecocks. This is Oklahoma State's first meet of the spring.
SERIES HISTORY
Oklahoma State leads the series with a 3-11 record. SMU boats a winning 3-2 record when competing against the Cowgirls at home. Last season, the two faced off twice, once in the regular season and again in April at the NCEA National Championships, where the Mustangs fell by only one point.

GOING BACK TO BACK
Last season, SMU made history as the first team to win the UEC league championship twice, earning the title in back-to-back seasons. The Mustangs finished last season 9-5 overall and were crowned National Championship Runners Up in Reining at the NCEA Tournament Event Finals.
