Kennedy Pedigo tied for 29
th to lead the women's golf team at The Bruzzy. Pedigo shot a final-round 75 Monday, the Mustangs' best round of the day.
Pedigo finished in the top-30 for the third time in five events this season, finishing with her second-best 54-hole score of the season at +4. Pedigo led the team by playing the par 5s at Lantana Golf Club at -5, and had nine birdies over the course of the two-day tournament.
Serena Shah finished 46
th after a final-round 78 that included three birdies, part of a team-high 12 this tournament.
Oklahoma State won the tournament at -15, and the Cowgirls' Lianna Bailey won the individual portion by eight strokes at -11. The Mustangs finished 14
th at +47 after shooting +20 in the last round.
Nicole Vivier had three birdies on the way to a final round 80 and a 74
th place finish at +18.
Lauren Chappell finished a stroke behind at +19 to tie for 75
th. Chappell birdies the par 4 9
th en route to a Monday 77 at the par 72 / 6,421-yard course.
Megan Chou shot 78 in the final round and finished 78
th at +21.
The Mustangs conclude their regular season April 12-13 at the Houston Oaks Women's Intercollegiate.
