DALLAS (SMU) – Head Coach
Kevin Hudson and the SMU men's soccer program have announced summer camp dates for 2021.
Day Camps are designed for boys 5-13 years of age who want to improve in a fun environment. The College Prep Camps, for boys ages 15-18, are designed to provide campers an inside look of what it's like to be a Division 1 soccer player at SMU. The Residential Camps, for boys 10-14, provide full soccer immersion in a competitive environment that aims to accelerate skill development. All camps are located on the beautiful campus of SMU in Dallas, Texas.
Hudson and his staff have been named the American Athletic Conference Coaching Staff of the Year twice since taking over in 2015 and have led the Mustangs to a top-15 ranking four times in that span. SMU won three straight conference tournament championships and two straight regular season titles heading into the 2020 season. The Mustangs reached the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2015 and 2017 before advancing to the Elite 8 in 2019.
Individually, five Mustangs have earned NSCAA/United Soccer Coaches All-America Honors under Hudson and his staff, including first-team selections
Eddie Munjoma (2019) and
Mauro Cichero (2015, 2017). SMU has also seen 19 All-Region honors handed out during Hudson's tenure.
Three Mustangs were selected in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft as
Nicky Hernandez (15
th, FC Dallas),
Brandon Terwege (57
th, Houston Dynamo FC) and
Talen Maples (72
nd, Toronto FC) all joined the professional ranks. Former Mustang standouts
Eddie Munjoma (FC Dallas),
Garrett McLaughlin (Toronto FC),
Michael Nelson (Houston) and
Emil Cuello (Los Angeles Galaxy) also currently play in the MLS.

2021 COVID-19 Full Refund Disclaimer
SMU Boys Camps has the full intention to host camps in the summer of 2021. Should those camps be canceled for COVID-19, we will provide a full refund less online registration convenience fees.
Per NCAA rules, all sport camps and clinics conducted by Southern Methodist University are open to any and all entrants and enrollment is only limited based on age, grade level, gender, or number restrictions as specified by each camp.
