Ashley Chow fired a collegiate-best 69 to lead the Mustangs in the final round of the Schooner Fall Classic at Belmar Golf Club Monday.

Chow played bogey-free golf on her first nine, birdieing three times in a four hole stretch to post a 31 on what is normally the back-nine at the par 70 / 6,109-yard track. She only dropped two shots over the last nine holes to go under-par in the third round for the second straight week and post her third career par-or-better round. The sophomore tied for 61
st at +15.

Katie James closed a second straight tournament on a strong note, writing a 1-over 71 on her card this week after a final-round 68 at the season-opening Badger Invitational. James had four birdies during the round, giving her a team-high seven for the tournament, and tied for 65
th at +16.

Kennedy Pedigo had the team's best finish, tying for 45
th at +10. Pedigo had a final-round 76 that featured a birdie on the 196-yard par 3 sixth.
Megan Chou posted a matching 76, avoiding a score worse than bogey Monday to tie for 71
st at +18.
Serena Shah finished 79
th at +31 after a final-round 83.

Last year's national runner-up, Oklahoma State, won the event at -16, while the Mustangs finished 15
th at +57 after a final-round +12. The Cowgirls' Caley McGinty won the individual portion of the competition by four strokes.

The Mustangs return to action October 11-12 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma for the Dale McNamara Invitational at the Golf Club of Oklahoma.
