WACO, Texas (SMU)- Liam Krall and Antonio Muniz-Hidalgo made a run to the quarterfinals of the main draw at the ITA Regional Championships before falling in a tiebreaker to the nation's No. 14 ranked doubles pair.

Krall and Muniz-Hidalgo defeated Ulysse Bertrand and Lucas Schurdevin of Texas A&M Corpus Christi 8-7 (2) in the round of 32, then defeated Demetris Azoides and Olle Wallin of Texas Tech, 8-6 in the round of 16.

The quarterfinal was a matchup versus Baylor's Finn Bass and Juampi Mazzuchi, where the SMU duo eventually fell in a tiebreaker 7-8 (5).

Krall and Muniz-Hidalgo also competed in the men's singles main draw where they both advanced to the round of 32 before being defeated.

They were joined by Adam Neff and Pranav Kumar in the men's doubles main draw who were defeated in the round of 16 by Matthis Ross and Stefan Storch of Texas A&M's, 5-8.

Neff and Kumar also competed in the men's singles main draw where Neff advanced to the main draw round of 32 before having to retire due to injury. Kumar defeated Linkuns- Morozvs of Abilene Christian, 6-0, 6-3 in the men's singles consolation round of 32.

Kumar was joined by Alex Stafford in the consolation round of 32 who defeated Elias Peter of Lamar, 6-3, 3-6, 10-5.

Jordi Redelijk defeated Christopher Frantzen of Baylor 1-6, 7-5, 6-3, in the qualifying singles round of 32 which advanced him to the main draw where he was defeated in the round of 64 by Jacod Fearnley of TCU, 1-6, 1-6.

Blaine Hovenier and Kyle Sillman were defeated by Barranquero and Chhabra of Abilene Christian, 7-8 (4-7) in the doubles round of 64.

Hovenier was defeated in the first round of qualifying singles but then defeated Christopher Lawrance of The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, 6-3, 6-4. He was joined by John Zisette who defeated Fliippo Salsini of Lamar, 6-2, 6-1 in the round of 64 then fell in the round of 32 of qualifying. As well as, Eli Susser and Kyle Sillman who were defeated in both of their qualifying matches.

The Mustangs are back in action again Oct. 27 in Los Angeles, California for the SO Cal Intercollegiate.
