DALLAS (SMU) – No. 32 SMU Men's Tennis won 4-0 against No. 53 Louisville at Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex on Sunday.
 
The Mustangs won the doubles point with dominant performances on courts two and three, before winning three consecutive singles contests on courts one, four and five to sweep the match.
 
Trevor Svajda and Jerry Barton won their doubles match on court two to improve their record to 10-3 as a doubles pair, while Georgi Georgiev and Vikas Deo clinched the doubles point and remain SMU's winningest doubles pair this season with an 11-3 record.
 
Svajda won his match with a double bagel (6-0, 6-0) on court one of singles, pushing his unbeaten streak to 10 matches in a row. The junior is now 18-1 in singles play this spring.
 
Krish Arora claimed his first straight-set win since March 1, improving his singles record to 11-9.
 
Barton grabbed his 14^th singles win of the season to clinch the match on court five. He is now 14-5 in singles play with 10 straight-set wins.

SMU remains undefeated at home against Louisville (3-0) and is 3-1 overall in the series.
 
The Mustangs are now 16-9 overall and 6-4 in ACC play as they prepare for a road match at Georgia Tech on Thursday.
 
How it Went
SMU won the doubles point with a dominant showing on courts two and three. Trevor Svajda and Jerry Barton won their match on court two against Louis Chusseau and Jerald Carroll (6-2) to kick off the day.
 
The Cardinals' pair of Wahid Ahouda and Hamza El Amine defeated Alex Finkelstein and Krish Arora on court one (6-3), but Georgi Georgiev and Vikas Deo clinched the point for SMU with a win over Russell Lokko and Matei Onofrei on court three (6-2).

SMU entered singles play with a 1-0 lead.
 
No. 1-ranked Svajda showed his dominance by winning his court one singles match 6-0, 6-0 against Walid Ahouda to extend SMU's lead.
 
Arora made it 3-0 for SMU with a win over Pedro Cressoni (6-3, 6-2) on court four, before Barton clinched the sweep win on court five by defeating Hamza El Amine (6-3, 6-2).
