TULSA, Okla. (SMU)- Adam Neff and Pranav Kumar completed the ITA All- American Championships on Friday in the doubles main draw quarterfinals that began with 32 teams.
 
Neff and Kumar picked up their second straight third set tie-breaker victory in the round of 16 before falling in the quarterfinals.
 
Neff and Kumar defeated Panik/ Nathan of Montana State, 6-4, 5-7, (10-5) in the round of 32 to advance to the round of 16. They defeated Santalla/ Gaber of The University of Tulsa, 6-4, 4-6, (10-3) to advance to the quarterfinals.
 
They then fell in straight sets to Cernoch/ Seggerman of UNC Chapel Hill, 2-6, 5-7.
 
This is their first appearance at partners in the tournament making this their best run at this prestigious tournament.
 
"What a great week for Adam & Pranav. Good few days of preparation and their first tournament together since last season," said head coach Grant Chen. "They kept getting better with each and every match. It will be exciting to see their continued progress this fall. PK also had a great week in singles as he's made huge strides this summer. This is one of the biggest events of the fall and great to see some positive results."

Pranav Kumar defeated Oliver Tarvet (San Diego) 6-3, 6-1.
Adam Neff lost to Charles Bertimon (Virginia Commonwealth) 3-6, 5-7.

Kumar defeated Josh Wilson (Liberty) 6-1, 6-1.

R32:
Kumar lost to Trey Hilderbrand (A&M) 3-6, 4-6.
