MADISON, Wis. (SMU) – Nicole Stambo and Johanna Holloway advanced to 3 meter Finals to lead the Mustangs on day two at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships. It was the first career appearance for both divers in 3 meter finals, giving them their highest career placement, and second finals appearance for Stambo this week (1 meter).
 
Stambo finished with a two-round total of 592.55 for 16th place after coming out of prelims at 306.90 and in 14th. Holloway was just ahead at 311.70 in 13th following the opening round and finished 17th with a final 591.40.
 
Jaclynn Fowler finished her day in preliminary action, scoring 277.80 points for 24th place.
 
Action resumes Wednesday with the Mustangs competing on platform. Holloway and Stambo will represent SMU in the event. Live video and results are available.
 
Schedule/Event Info
Preliminary action begins at 11 a.m. CT each day. The top 18 divers move on to finals and scores will carry over.
 

Wednesday Women's Platform Prelim – 11 a.m. Final – 12:45 p.m.

If a diver automatically qualifies in an event based on the numbers below, they will also be invited to the NCAA Championships in an event they place in the top 12 at the Zone Championships, provided they have achieved the zone qualifying score for that event prior to the NCAA Championships.
