The No. 43 SMU women's tennis team closes regular season play hosting No. 55 Rice in a rematch on Saturday, and AAC rival No. 56 Memphis on Monday at the Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex.
The Mustangs (12-8) are led by graduate senior
Lexi Keberle, who has amassed an 11-4 dual singles record on line one, recording straight-set wins against No. 60 Denver, No. 40 Tulsa, and former team Wisconsin.
Doubles duo

Jackie Nylander improved in the
ITA National Doubles Rankings by 38 spots, following wins against No. 19 UCF and TCU, falling in at No 33. The pair holds an 8-1 mark in dual singles, with a current five-match win streak that includes wins against No. 29 and No. 54 - ranked pairs from UCF and Kansas, respectively.
Rice
The No. 55 Owls enter their regular season finale looking to split the season series with SMU after falling 4-2 to the Mustangs in the opening round of the ITA Kickoff Weekend on Jan. 28. Since that match, Rice has gone 12-5, including a five-match win streak in which the Owls earned a 4-0 shutout against No. 41 Charlotte.
Rice's Anna Bowtell and Maria Budin currently lead the Owls in singles, both sporting a 12-3 dual record. Budin currently rides a six-match win streak, earning singles victories against No. 42 FIU and No. 48 Arizona along the way. Bowtell seeks her third-consecutive win after wins against South Florida and FIU on line five.
In doubles play, Budin/Diae El Jardi, ranked 20
th in the ITA National Doubles Rankings, are 11-4 in dual doubles and seeking their fourth-consecutive win on court one.
SMU holds a 14-11 advantage in the all-time series against Rice, with their last two meetings falling the way of the Mustangs, 4-2.

Junior
Lana Mavor debuted her Mustang dual career with a 6-3, 6-7, 6-3 win at the ITA Kickoff Weekend against Rice on Jan. 28, clinching the 4-2 team win for SMU in Austin. Mavor, after splitting her opening two sets against Bowtell on court four, defeated Bowtell in a third-set tiebreak to clinch the win for SMU.

Keberle/Mavor on court two claimed a 7-5 victory, after falling behind 5-3 in the contest. On the third court,
Nicole Petchey and
Hadley Doyle fell to a 3-0 deficit before climbing back to 3-3, where both sides traded game wins all the way to a 6-5 tally in favor of Rice before their match was called.
Keberle claimed the first singles point of the day with a 6-3, 6-2 straight-set win over Rice's Frederica Trevisan. The opening set was a close affair early on, with Keberle holding a tight 3-2 advantage over Trevisan, before separating herself on the way to a 6-3 decision. A decisive 6-2 win in the second set clinched the point for Keberle.
On court two,
Hadley Doyle claimed the third point of the day for the Mustangs with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Rice opponent Anastasia Smirnova. Neither player could gain more than a one-game advantage over the other through the majority of the second set, leading to a 4-4 tie. Doyle then shut the door on Smirnova, winning the proceeding two games on the way to a singles win.
Memphis
The No. 56 Memphis Tigers enter Monday's outing against SMU winners of ten of their last 11 matches, including a 5-0 mark against American Athletic Conference opponents. Memphis seeks their fifth-consecutive win, following a 4-2 victory over Tulane in Memphis that capped a 9-0 season home record for the Tigers.
Memphis' Emily Meyer seeks her fifth-consecutive win, splitting her time between lines three and four throughout the spring. Meyer currently holds a 14-3 dual singles record, which includes a 9-0 mark on court four.
Monique Woog, sporting a 15-3 dual singles record and winner of three-straight contests is 7-1 in her last ten matches. Woog has played on courts five and six for Memphis, and holds 8-2 and 5-0 records on both courts, respectively.
Aran Teixedo-Garcia sports a 12-5 spring record, seeking her third-consecutive win following straight-set victories on court one against Cincinnati and Tulane, respectively.
Teixedo-Garcia and Meyer lead Memphis in doubles with a 10-3 record. The pair have won their last two completed matches against Samford (6-4), and Lipscomb (6-3). Â

Hadley Doyle. Nylander/Doyle defeated Aleksa Cveticanin/Alisa Soloveva for their fifth consecutive win, improving to a team-best 8-1 through dual play. Jakeway/Huth's win over TCU's Jade Otway/Stevie Kennedy marked the duo's second match together of the dual season, and second win.
In singles, Nylander defeated Cveticanin 6-2, 6-4, completing a perfect weekend for the junior following wins in doubles and singles against No. 19 UCF on Friday. The win marked Nylander's eighth of the dual season.
Graduate senior
Claudia Bartolome earned her eighth win of the spring, and the 71st win of her career in a straight-set, 6-3, 6-3 win against TCU's Jade Otway, to push the Mustangs lead to 3-1.
With the clinch on the line, Petchey, after taking the first set on court six 6-3, traded game wins through her second set against Stevie Kennedy. Up 6-5 with the match tied at 40-all, Petchey defeated Kennedy, taking her final set 7-5 and sealing the 4-1 win for the Mustangs.
