IRVING, Texas (The American/SMU)-- SMU graduate guard Tiara Young was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll, the league announced on Monday. 

Young led the Mustangs with 19 points in SMU's victory over Louisiana Tech on Thursday. She grabbed five boards and recorded two steals. 

Young has scored double-digit points in all nine games  and averages 20.3 ppg, ranking third in the league and 27th nationally. She has scored 183 points through nine games (3rd AAC, 41st nationally), on 52.7% shooting (3rd AAC/80th nationally).

SMU hosts Sam Houston Monday at 7 p.m. in Moody Coliseum.
