DALLAS (SMU) – The No. 1 SMU Equestrian team is set for three days of competition against top-10 ranked SEC opponents. The Mustangs face No. 6 South Carolina Thursday, followed by a matchup with fifth-ranked Georgia on Friday. SMU closes out the stretch with a showdown at No. 3 Auburn. 

The meets against Georgia and Auburn can be seen on ESPN+.

UP TO THIS POINT
No. 1 SMU opened its spring slate with back-to-back victories over UT Martin. SMU defeated the Skyhawks 13-5 on Jan. 28 in Dallas, and 12-6 on Feb. 11 in Martin, Tennessee. The Mustangs finished the fall with an unblemished 4-0 record. SMU started the season taking  down then-No. 1 OSU 10-9 on the road followed by beating Baylor 13-6 in Dallas. SMU closed out the fall in dominating fashion, taking down Delaware State 19-1 and UC Davis 14-6.
