DALLAS- SMU returns to the Styslinger/ Altec Tennis Complex on Sunday afternoon for a men's tennis matchup against its second American Athletic Conference opponent this season, No. 73 UCF, at 2 p.m.

The women's tennis team hosts Tulane at 10 a.m. Between matches, staring at 1:45 p.m., the first 150 fans will receive a free meal from Dog Haus and the first 250 fans will receive a free cooling towel from UT Southwestern Medical Center.
 
SMU is coming off a pair of 5-2 victories and its first Top 25 victory of the season against No. 21 Cornell and Southern Arkansas on Mar. 10 to improve to 9-7 throughout the season.
 
INSIDE THE MATCH
SMU is 9-1 at home this season with its only loss coming from No. 37 San Diego. The Mustangs have won 12 doubles points throughout the season.

MUSTANG MARK
SMU debuted a trio of new doubles pairing on Mar. 10 doubleheader against Southern Arkansas and Cornell.

Adam Neff and Kyle Sillman went undefeated throughout the day going 2-0 picking up the first win in each of the doubles play.

Pranav Kumar and Antonio Muniz-Hidalgo are now 1-0 as a pair. The duo picked up their first win in a 7-2 tiebreaker victory to clinch the doubles point against No. 21 Cornell.

Antonio Muniz-Hidalgo and Liam Krall hold a 7-3 overall record in doubles with their losses coming from Mississippi State, Oklahoma State and San Diego. The duo clinched the doubles point for the Mustangs against Old Dominion.

Pranav Kumar and Adam Neff hold a 4-4 record at Court 1. The SMU pair picked up their second ranked victory against the No. 47 ITA doubles duo from Old Dominion, 6-1.
 
Julian Steinhausen and Kyle Sillman picked up their first victory as a doubles pairing against San Diego on Court 2, 6-3.
 
Adam Neff holds a 5-2 singles record throughout the dual season and is on a three-match win streak. Neff won on Court 1 for the third week in a row with a three-set victory against Oklahoma State. Neff picked up his first victory in a ranked matchup against the No. 68-ranked player from Ole Miss in straight sets.
 
Sophomore Louis Cloud holds a team high 8-3 record over the season. Cloud improves to three match-clinchers with his most recent victory against Old Dominion on Court 6. Cloud picked up two singles wins for the Mustangs at the ITA Kickoff weekend going undefeated throughout the weekend. Since fall 2022, Cloud has gone 15-7.
 
Liam Krall, Pranav Kumar and Antonio Muniz-Hidalgo all have six wins a piece in singles. Muniz-Hidalgo picked up his first match clincher of the season against No. 21 Cornell with a third set victory on Court 4.
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
UCF is coming off a 4-2 loss against No. 30 Oklahoma State on Mar. 10 resulting in an 3-8 overall record.  
 
Bogdan Pavel is ranked No. 105 in the ITA singles rankings as well as No. 79 with partner Lleyton Cronje in the ITA doubles rankings.

LAST TIME OUT
SMU men's tennis put on a show in front of a packed house at the Styslinger/ Altec Tennis complex earning a pair of 5-2 victories over Southern Arkansas and No. 21 Cornell.

The Mustangs picked up both doubles points and eight singles matches to improve to 9-7 throughout the dual season and recorded their first ITA Top-25 win of the season.
