DALLAS (SMU) – SMU Men's Tennis junior
Trevor Svajda won the 2026 Dallas Summer Series M25 single title by defeating Ohio State's Aidan Kim (6-3, 6-2) in the championship match in front of the SMU community at Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex on Sunday.
In the five-round tournament, Svajda defeated Maximus Dussault (6-1 4-6 7-5) in the first round, Andreja Petrovic (6-1 2-6 6-4) in the second round, Matthew Forbes (7-6(7) 6-1) in the quarterfinals, Evan Zhu (6-4 6-4) in the semifinals before winning the title against Kim.
"This was a special week. To win a singles title at home courts on SMU campus is something I'll remember and cherish," said Svajda.
"So much hard work training this summer is showing and really excited to build off this week. So thankful to Mustang staff for putting on a great week and to my coaches & family for their endless support."

Styslinger / Altec Tennis Complex hosted the annual ITF M25 Dallas Summer Series tournament, a staple tour stop for aspiring tennis professionals.
Svajda earned the title on the heels of a stellar college season where he was an NCAA Singles Championship runner-up and was ranked No. 1 by the ITA four times. He was also named two-time ITA All-American, ITA Player to Watch, First Team All-ACC Singles and UTR Hurd Award Finalist.
