SAN FRANCISCO (SMU) – SMU men's golf finished in 18
th of 28 at The Goodwin on Saturday from TPC Harding Park.

The Mustangs came into the final day of competition sitting in a tie for 19
th among the 28 team field. SMU shot its best round of the tournament with a five over par performance (285). The Mustangs climbed one spot on the leaderboard into 18
th at 24-over par for the weekend. Oklahoma won the event with a score of 18-under.

Competing as an individual,
Dawson Ovard was the Mustangs' low scorer of the event, wrapping up play at even par. Ovard finished his tournament with a birdie for a score of 70 on the day. The junior moved up eight spots during the final round into a tie for 16
th.

After opening the tournament with two rounds of 70,
Nathan Petronzio shot a 72 on the final day to finish in a tie for 32
nd.

Will Sides moved up 12 spots on Saturday with a 72 to conclude the event in a tie for 78
th.Â
J. Holland Humphries vaulted up the leaderboard with his lowest round on the season of 68. Humphries shot up 49 spots into a tie for 95
th.

Zachary Kingsland carded a 76 to finish in a tie for 95
th while
Holden Wisener shot a 73 for the second-straight day to end play in a tie for 136
th.

Next up, the Mustangs wrap up the regular season with the Thunderbird Collegiate hosted by Arizona State April 14-15.
