
Rowing Advances Three Boats To NCAA Petite Finals

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. – The Mustangs advanced three boats to the petite final during the A/B NCAA semifinals on Saturday.
The Mustangs were one of 10 squads, Washington, Princeton, Virginia, Texas, Michigan, Stanford, Yale, SMU, Cal and Brown, to make the A/B semifinal in all three boats. That marked the first time in program history that the Mustangs have had all three boats in the A/B semifinal.
The Mustangs started the day with a fifth-place finish in the first varsity eight. The Mustangs crossed the line 6:24.055. They finished 1.856 ahead of sixth-place Cal. The Mustangs advance to the petite finals with their performance. The race is slated for 9:12 a.m. CT on Sunday.
In the second varsity eight, the Mustang came in sixth. They finished the race in 6:36.939. They'll compete in the petite finals at 8:48 a.m. CT on Sunday.
In the varsity four semifinal, the Mustangs finished in sixth place in time of 7:24.106. They advance to the petite finals on Sunday. The race is slated for 8:36 a.m. CT.
The Mustangs return to the water for the final three races of the season on Sunday. They'll look to improve on their best ever finish at the NCAA Championship (11th in 2021).
