SMU Wraps Up Night One Of SMU Classic

DALLAS (SMU) – SMU women's swimming & diving competed in nine events on night one of the SMU Classic on Friday evening at Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center.

Friday Night Notable Results
400 Medley Relay
SMU's 400 medley relay team of Jimena Leal, Isabella Krantzcke, Teia Salvino and Isabella Bedoya recorded a time of 3:40.78 to place sixth in the first event of the night.

400 IM
Jimena Leal threw down a time of 4:25.94 to earn sixth, while Mira Szimcsak touched the wall in 4:19.53 during the B final to earn ninth.

200 Free
Summer Osborne placed fourth with a 1:46.86 in the event, while Madeleine Hebert recorded a 1:48.44 to finish 10th.

50 Free
Teia Salvino tallied a time of 22.98 to finish fifth, while Madison Parker earned a 22.87 in the B final to place ninth.

3-Meter Diving
Jaclynn Fowler tallied a score of 255.75 to place fifth in the lone diving event of the evening.

100 Fly
Teia Salvino threw down a 55.23 to earn a sixth-place finish and Isabella Bedoya touched the wall in 56.36 to place 12th while competing in the B Final.

100 Back
Jimena Leal placed fifth with a personal-best mark of 53.84, and Madison Parker saw a 56.29 time to earn 11th while competing in the B final.

100 Breast
Placing sixth in the A final, Isabella Krantzcke touched the wall in 1:02.62 and Mira Szimcsak earned a 1:06.04 to finish 11th during the last individual event of the night.

800 Free Relay
In the final event of night one, the team comprised of Summer Osborne, Isabella Bedoya, Madeleine Hebert and Madison Parker placed sixth with a mark of 7:21.11.
