DALLAS, Texas (SMU) -- The Mustangs are back in action on Friday for the Arturo Barrios Invitational at Texas A&M. This meet will be the final regular season meet before SMU's first Atlantic Coast Conference Championship.Â
The distance ponies are ranked fifth headed into the large meet with 40 teams and over 800 entries between the men and women.Â
"This will be the largest race field of the season," Head Coach A'Havahla Haynes said. "The women have been training well together, which will translate to racing. It will be important to race as a group and move together over the final two kilometers."Â
The women will start the race at 9:15 a.m.Â
