The 24th-ranked SMU swimming & diving program is set to host a double-dual with Oklahoma Christian and Incarnate Word on Friday afternoon at Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center.
Last weekend, the Mustangs hosted the SMU Classic featuring six ranked programs.

IN THE POLLS
The October edition of the CSCAA Top 25 placed the Mustangs at No. 24, and SMU was the first team out of the SwimSwam Preseason Power Rankings. SMU has a loaded slate this season, facing off against nine programs ranked in both polls. Including SMU, 11 ACC programs were either ranked or received votes in one of the polls in the preseason.
RETURNING TO THE HILLTOP
SMU returns three All-American swimmers from last season. Graduate student
Jack Hoagland picked up All-America honors in the 500 free, 1650 free, 400 IM and 800 free relay last season. Joining him on the 800 free relay was graduate student
Chris Mykkanen and junior
Jack Forrest.
HIGH-LEVEL DIVING IN DALLAS
Freshman diver
Luke Sitz opened up his SMU career strong, recording two wins during the SMU Classic. His performance earned him ACC Diver of the Week accolades, and he currently has the top score in the conference on 1-meter, and second highest on 3-meter.
MUSTANGS REACHING NCAA STANDARDS
During the SMU Classic,
Jack Hoagland and
Luke Sitz both achieved NCAA standards. Hoagland earned 'B' cut times in the 400 IM and 500 free, while Sitz achieved zone standards on 1-meter and 3-meter.
