DALLAS (SMU) – SMU women's tennis hosted the SMU Invitational this weekend at Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex. The event had participants from Utah, Kansas State, UTSA, Houston, and Kansas.

Two doubles wins highlighted the competition for June Bjork and Caroline McGinley. The duo won their first two matches against pairs from the Big 12 at Utah and Houston.

SMU prepares next for the ITA Texas Regional Championships starting Oct. 10 in Fort Worth, Texas, at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
