DALLAS (SMU) – SMU Women's Swimming & Diving added two event wins and three NCAA Standards on the final day of the SMU Invite to wrap up its midseason meet, Saturday.
Two Mustangs improved their position in the program's all-time top-10 performers list.

Ava Andersen scored 189.35 on platform to place 10th, while Jaclynn Fowler placed 12th by scoring 182.55.
Sadie Klepfer placed 15th with a score of 179.25 and Sadie Klepfer placed 18th with 169.10 points.
1650 Free
Mira Szimcsak placed third in the 1650 Free with a time of 16:47.84.
200 Back
Rachel Anderson became the sixth fastest Mustang to ever swim the 200 Back by clocking 1:54.92 to win the event. Jimena Leal placed runner-up with a time of 1:55.72.
Lauren Priest placed 10th in the B final with a time of 2:02.52 and Olivia Lind placed 12th with a time of 2:04.12.
Anderson and Leal made NCAA B Cuts.
100 Free
Madison Parker placed runner-up in the 100 Free with an NCAA B Cut time of 48.38. Parker is now the third fastest 100 Free performer in program history.
Teia Salvino placed third with a time of 49.20, Madeleine Hebert placed sixth by swimming 49.71, Summer Osborne finished seventh (50.01) and Isabella Bedoya placed eighth with a time of 50.36.
Tiffanie Ruan placed 14th in the B final with a time of 51.08.
200 Breast
Isabella Krantzcke placed fourth in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:14.18, while Hannah Lockyer clocked 2:21.17 to place ninth.
200 Fly
Carlotta Scarpitti finished fourth in the 200 Fly with a time of 2:00.59.
400 Free Relay
SMU's team of Madison Parker, Madeleine Hebert, Summer Osborne and Teia Salvino threw down 3:16.59 to win the meet's final event.
The Mustangs' squad of Jimena Leal, Mira Szimcsak, Isabella Krantzcke and Tiffanie Ruan finished fourth with a time of 3:23.77.
What's Next?
The Mustangs return as a team in the new year, where the diving squad will open up 2025 at the Georgia Diving Invitational on January 3-5. The team will return on January 11 to face top-ranked Texas in Austin.
Select members from the SMU program will compete at the US Open Swimming Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina, on December 4-7. The meet occurs at Greensboro Aquatic Center, which will host the 2025 ACC Championships.
