GREENSBORO, N.C. (SMU) – Eight Mustangs are set to compete in the Toyota US Open at the Greensboro Aquatic Center from Thursday to Saturday.
Mira Szimcsak, Teia Salvino, Isabella Krantzcke, Madison Parker, Isabella Bedoya, Summer Osborne, Rachel Anderson and Jimena Leal will compete against swimmers from all over the nation.
The Greensboro Aquatic Center will host the 2025 ACC Championship in February.
Swimmers' Events
Mira Szimcsak: 500 Free, 400 IM and 1650 Free
Teia Salvino: 200 Back, 100 Free, 200 IM, 50 Free, 100 Fly and 100 Back
Isabella Krantzcke: 200 Breast, 200 IM, 400 IM and 100 Breast
Madison Parker: 50 Free, 200 Free and 100 Free
Isabella Bedoya: 50 Free and 100 Free
Summer Osborne: 50 Free, 200 Free and 100 Free
Rachel Anderson: 400 IM, 100 Back and 200 Back
Jimena Leal: 100 Back and 200 Back
Mustangs at the SMU Invite
Five Mustangs improved their spots in the program's all-time performers list. Szimcsak, Parker and Anderson improved their positions in multiple events.
Mustangs' NCAA Standards
Ten Mustangs have already earned NCAA Standards this season. Jaclynn Fowler, Reagan Evans, Sadie Klepfer and Natalie Stubbs have earned NCAA Zones Diving Standards, while Parker, Anderson, Leal, Szimcsak, Salvino and Madeleine Hebert have NCAA B Cuts in swimming.
