DALLAS (SMU) - SMU rowing completed competition against Oklahoma and Texas in Dallas at Bachman Lake.Â

"The team got some great race experience against two strong programs," said head coach
Chase Graham. "We faced some adversity during the week which created an opportunity for growth. The team responded well in many regards, but we also identified some things to improve on. I am excited to take what we learned this week into our next race. I would like to thank all the rowing staff at Bachman Lake for hosting."

SMU, the three-time reigning AAC Champions, is currently ranked No. 18 in the Pockock CRCA Coaches Poll. The Mustangs finished in ninth at the 2023 NCAA Rowing Championships, the highest finish in program history.

SMU returns to the water for their first official action of the 2024 campaign with the San Diego Crew Classic. The event runs Friday April 5
th through Sunday April 7
th.
