RESULTS AND SCHEDULE
SAN DIEGO (SMU) - SMU rowing competed in the San Diego Crew Classic on Saturday finishing third in two races and fourth in another at Mission Bay/
The Mustangs first took to the water in the 8+ Jessop-Whittier Cup. The team completed the 2000m race in 7:04.642 behind Washington and Washington State. The Mustangs competed in Sunday's final at 11:30 am CT / 9:30 am PT.
In the second race for SMU, the Mustangs finished in fourth in the 4+ with a time of 7:53.981. The team finished ahead of Cal-San Diego. SMU will compete in the "B" final at 3:42 p.m. CT / 1:42 p.m. PT.
In the second varsity eight Jackie Ann Stitt Hungness Heat one, the Mustangs finished in third behind Washington and Washington State and ahead of Cal-San Diego. SMU completed the race in 7:13.648. The Mustangs will be one of eight teams competing for in the 2v8 final at 12:14 p.m. CT / 10:14 a.m. PT on Sunday.
