SMU Men's Diving is set to have
John Dymond and
Luke Sitz compete at the Georgia Diving Invite beginning on Friday morning at Gabrielsen Natatorium.

The meet will run from Friday until Sunday, with prelims beginning at 10:30 a.m. CT each day. Following prelims, finals will take place at 2 p.m. on Friday and Sunday and at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Friday will feature the men's 1-meter, Saturday will have 3-meter and Sunday will showcase platform diving. There will also be exhibition team diving beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

HIGH-LEVEL DIVING IN DALLAS
Freshman diver
Luke Sitz earned three straight ACC Diver of the Week accolades during the first three weeks of SMU's season. Sitz has also reached NCAA Zone Diving qualifying marks in all three of SMU's meets this season. He also is the second diver to ever win three subsequent ACC Diver of the Week awards since its inception in 2012 and the first freshman to ever accomplish the feat.

John Dymond returns to SMU this year after performing well on big stages last season. Dymond qualified for NCAA Zone's on 1-meter and 3-meter, along with being named the Atlantic Sun Most Outstanding Diver of the Championship after winning the conference crown on 3-meter.

SITZ ON THE INTERNATIONAL STAGE
During the week of Thanksgiving,
Luke Sitz competed at the World Aquatics Junior Diving Championships on behalf of the United States. The Freshman posted three top-six finishes, including placing fifth on both 3-meter and 3-meter synchronized.

The Prosper native also recorded two top-four finishes at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Diving Trials, the highest finisher below the age of 20 on both 3-meter and 3-meter synchronized.
