DALLAS (SMU) – After an unbeaten weekend which featured two four-set road wins over Florida State and No. 18 Miami, SMU Volleyball reached its highest ranking in program history by the AVCA, coming in at No. 8 on Monday.
The Mustangs cracked the top 25 for the first time in last year's historic season, reaching as high as No. 10 in the country. The Mustangs have been ranked in 21 straight polls.
SMU Volleyball is 12-4 on the season and are 4-2 in ACC play. The Mustangs have three wins over ranked opponents this season, are slotted at No. 6 in the latest NCAA RPI with the fourth-best strength of schedule in the country.
SMU will continue its four-match road stretch at Louisville on Friday, Oct. 17. First serve is set for 6 p.m. CT on ACCNX.
