CHARLOTTE, N.C. (ACC/SMU) – SMU Men's Soccer sophomore Stephan Soghomonian was named Atlantic Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.
 
Soghomonian earned his first ACC honors after scoring a hat trick in SMU's 4-0 victory against Cal on Friday. He is the first Mustang to score a hat trick since Jelldrik Dallmann against Temple on Nov. 9, 2023.

The sophomore is the eighth ACC player to score three or more goals this season and the only player to do it against an ACC opponent. 

The California native led the Mustangs' offense in its highest-scoring ACC win in program history with six shots and five on goal.
 
Soghomonian and the Mustangs will be back in action when SMU visits Syracuse for its third ACC road match on Saturday.
