Mustangs Win Two Events On Final Day Of SMU Invite

DALLAS (SMU) -
 SMU Women's Swimming & Diving won two events on the final day of the SMU Invite at Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center on Saturday.
 
Annemarie Vlaic highlighted the final day of competition by winning the 200 fly and moving up to second in the all-time performers list. Jimena Leal also won an event in the 200 back.

Isabella Krantzcke placed fifth in the 200 IM by swimming a time of 2:01.48.
 
Cassidy Allison placed fourth in the B final (12th overall) by clocking 2:05.05 while Carlotta Scarpitti placed third in the C final (19th overall) with a time of 2:08.53.
 
100 Free
Maddy Parker finished runner-up in the 100 free with a time of 48.23.
 
Chloe Corbin swam a time of 50.60 to place fifth in the B final (13th overall) while Maddie Reynolds placed 21st overall with a  time of 51.47.
 
200 Fly
Annemarie Vlaic won the 200 fly with a time of 1:56.40 to become the second-fastest Mustang to ever swim the event.
 
200 Back
Jimena Leal made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs by winning the 200 back (1:55.27).
 
400 Free Relay
SMU's quartet of Maddy Parker, Summer Osborne, Madeleine Hebert and Chloe Corbin placed second in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:17.12.
 
Maddie Reynolds, Cassidy Allison, Karly Boles and Isabella Krantzcke finished eighth by clocking 3:23.65.
 
What's Next?
Multiple Mustangs will compete at the US Open Championships in Austin, Texas, on Dec. 3 through Dec. 6.
