DALLAS (The ACC/SMU) – SMU lineman
Logan Parr was selected as the ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week in a release by the league on Monday.
This marks the first time the graduate student has received the weekly honor in his career, and also a first for any SMU linemen since joining the ACC last season.
Parr, a Texas native, has been a stalwart along the offensive line all year for the Mustangs, but was especially effective in the dominant 38-6 win on Saturday at Ford Stadium against Louisville on Senior Day.
The big left guard helped power an SMU offense to 485 yards of total offense against the Cardinals, with 307 coming through the air and 178 on the ground.
Parr didn't give up a sack in the contest, and hasn't all year, and finished with an 83.2 pass protection grade by Pro Football Focus (PFF), the highest for anyone in the game.
