FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (SMU) - SMU Women's Swimming & Diving fell 208.5-88.5 in its first road dual meet of the season at Arkansas on Friday.
 
Freshman Annemarie Vlaic highlighted the meet with a win in the 200 fly. She improved her spot in the program's top-10 performers list to eighth after just breaking into the list last weekend.
 
Jimena Leal also earned a win in the 100 back, winning the event in back-to-back meets.

SMU's quartet of Jimena Leal, Isabella Krantzcke, Maddy Parker and Summer Osborne finished runner-up in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:39.91.

Maddie Reynolds, Carlotta Scarpitti, Annemarie Vlaic and Cassidy Allison clocked a time of 1:46.22 to place fourth.

1000 Free
Karly Boles placed second in the 1000 free with a time of 10:06.60, followed by Madeleine Hebert in third place, clocking 10:10.74.

200 Free
Summer Osborne clocked a time of 1:47.66 in the 200 free to finish runner-up.
 
Maddie Reynolds came in fifth with a time of 1:51.13.

100 Back
Jimena Leal took the Mustangs' first win of the afternoon in the 100 back by touching the wall at 53.85.
 
Karly Boles placed sixth with a time of 56.33.

100 Breast
Isabella Krantzcke finished runner-up with a time of 1:02.47 in the 100 breast.
 
Chloe Corbin was tied for fourth with a 1:03.83 mark.

200 Fly
Annemarie Vlaic wins the 200 fly in her second meet in a row by throwing down 1:57.29. Her time makes her the eighth-fastest Mustang to have ever swum the event.
 
Cassidy Allison placed fourth with a time of 2:01.11 while Carlotta Scarpitti came in sixth (2:12.65).

50 Free
Maddy Parker placed second in the 50 free with a time of 22.82.
 
Chloe Corbin clocked a time of 23.43 to place fourth, Madeleine Hebert came in sixth by clocking 23.68 and Summer Osborne placed seventh (23.95).

3 Meter Diving
Macey Oppliger placed fifth with a score of 276.68 on 3-meter followed by Sadie Klepfer in sixth (271.43), Reagan Evans in seventh (269.55) and Ava Andersen in eighth (241.80).

100 Free
Maddy Parker grabbed her second runner-up finish in the 100 free by throwing down 49.54.
 
Chloe Corbin placed fifth with a time of 51.19 and Maddie Reynolds placed seventh (52.28).

200 Back
Jimena Leal placed second in the 200 back with a time of 1:57.30.

200 Breast
Isabella Krantzcke placed third in the 200 breast with a time of 2:15.53.

500 Free
Karly Boles placed second in the 500 free with a time of 4:51.45, while Madeleine Hebert placed fourth by clocking 4:59.40.

Annemarie Vlaic grabbed another podium finish in second in the 100 fly with a time of 54.52, followed by Cassidy Allison, also with a podium finish in third (54.93).

Macey Oppliger placed fourth on 1-meter by scoring 289.20.
 
Ava Andersen came in sixth (249.90), followed by Sadie Klepfer who took the seventh spot with a 246.23 mark and Reagan Evans placed 11^th with 204.00 points.

200 Individual Medley
Cassidy Allison swam a time of 2:04.54 to place fourth in the 200 IM.
 
Isabella Krantzcke placed fifth with a time of 2:06.89, followed by Annemarie Vlaic in sixth (2:07.36) and Carlotta Scarpitti in seventh (2:13.16).

400 Free Relay
Maddy Parker, Summer Osborne, Madeleine Hebert and Chloe Corbin placed second in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:19.38.
