GREENSBORO, N.C. (SMU) – SMU Women's Swimming and Diving concluded day four of the ACC Championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center on Friday.
 
Teia Salvino became the fifth-fastest 100 backstroker in school history when she led off the Mustangs' 400 medley relay. Her time (52.98) was also good for an NCAA B cut qualification.

200 Fly
Carlotta Scarpitti placed 40^th in the 200 fly prelims with a time of 2:04.25.
 
100 Back
Jimena Leal placed 30th in prelims with a time of 53.56.
 
Olivia Lind placed 52^nd with a time of 57.30 while Lauren Priest touched the wall in 58.03 to place 53rd.
 
100 Breast
Isabella Krantzcke swam a time of 1:02.80 to place 28^th in prelims while Hannah Lockyer placed 34^th with a time of 1:06.19.
 
400 Medley Relay
SMU's relay team of Teia Salvino, Isabella Krantzcke, Jimena Leal and Maddy Parker swam a time of 3:35.59 to place 12th in the 400 medley relay.
 
Salvino clocked a time of 52.98 to become the fifth-fastest 100 backstroker in school history and earn an NCAA B cut.

SMU is set to wrap its ACC Championships debut on Saturday.
 
The 1650 free, 200 back, 200 breast, platform diving, 100 free and 400 free relay will be held tomorrow, with prelims beginning at 8:30 am CT and finals at 4:30 pm CT.
