BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas (SMU) – Members of the SMU men's swimming & diving team concluded action at the Texas A&M Last Chance Meet on Saturday evening at Rec Center Natatorium.

The three-day meet began on Thursday morning for the Mustangs. The meet was the first competition following the Mustangs' inaugural appearance at the ACC Championships and is the first of two last chance meets for SMU, with the other being next Thursday-Saturday at Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center.

The two competitions are the final opportunities for swimmers to reach NCAA Championships qualifying marks.

Hunter Lund recorded his best time in the event during finals on Thursday evening, touching the wall in 4:26.85.

Asher Good, who finished in 1:46.35 during finals of the event.
Ben Longeway was the second-fastest Mustang, touching the wall in 1:49.97. Also competing in the event was

100 Fly
Ryan Peckham had the best time of the day for SMU during prelims, finishing in 48.04. In finals,
Kaleb Ikbal saw a time of 48.12. Also in finals,
Cameron Thompson touched the wall in 48.82 while
Ben Longeway finished in 49.23.

In a time trial on Thursday,
Louie Fasani recorded a mark of 48.92 in the event, while
Graham Hohnbaum touched the wall in 48.36. A time trial on Saturday saw
Leif Bouwman finish in 48.26.

Asher Good recorded his best mark during the morning session with a time of 3:54.18.

Asher Good touched the wall in 1:43.60 to record the best time for SMU in the event.
Louie Fasani saw his fastest mark in prelims, earning a time of 1:46.60.

Good's time was his first NCAA 'B' standard of the season. His mark also moved him up to eighth on SMU's All-Time Top Performers list.
