IOWA CITY, Iowa (SMU) – SMU senior
Jaclynn Fowler earned a spot in the NCAA Championships on 1-meter at the NCAA Zone Diving Championships on Tuesday.
Fowler scored 280.65 to finish 16
th on 1-meter prelims before moving up to finish 10
th in the finals to clinch her ticket to the national championships in the event.
The California native will join swimmer
Maddy Parker in the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships at Federal Way, Washington.
Natalie Stubbs placed 22
nd on 1-meter with a score of 265.10 in prelims.
What's Next?
Two Mustangs will compete in the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships at Federal Way, Washington, on March 19-22.
Fowler will compete on 1-meter diving, while Parker will race in the 50, 100 and 200 free events at the national championships.
