FEDERAL WAY, Wash. (SMU) – SMU Women's Swimming and Diving sophomore
Maddy Parker wrapped her second event at the NCAA Championships in Federal Way, Washington, on Friday.
Parker raced the 200 free and clocked a time of 1:46.24 to place 43rd. She swam her second-fastest career 200 free time.
The Spanish Fork, Utah, native swam a personal best time of 1:45.69 in the Toyota US Open in December to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
The 200 free was Parker's second event at the NCAA Championships. She placed 61st in the 50 free with an entry time of 22.42 on Thursday.
What's Next?
Parker will conclude her first NCAA Championships in the 100 free on Saturday.
The sophomore will be the 36th-seeded swimmer in the event with a time of 48.09.
