FEDERAL WAY, Wash. (SMU) – Jack Hoagland competed in the mile and the SMU men's swimming & diving team wrapped with the 400 free relay to conclude the NCAA Championships on Saturday evening at Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center.

SMU placed 35th nationally thanks to 12 points from freshman diver
Luke Sitz on 1-meter during Thursday's action.

In the first heat of the 1650 free, Hoagland finished in a season-best 14:59.75 to place 31st to conclude his career as a Mustang. He leaves SMU as the school record holder in the 200 free, 500 free, 1000 free,1650 free and 400 IM, along with being a member of the record-holding 800 free relay squad.

The 400 free relay saw the Mustang team of
Harold Lockhart,
Sage Sungail,
Lance Butler and
Jack Forrest finishing in 2:51.11 to place 26th.

Lockhart led off with a split of 42.62, with Sungail following with a 42.47. Butler touched the wall in 42.39, and Forrest finished it with a split of 43.63.
