Mackenzie Lee sits in the top 18 of the field at the ACC Championship. As a team, the Mustangs hold 15
th place at Sedgefield Country Club.
The Mustangs shot 305, 17-over in round one of the three round stroke play of the program's first ACC Championship. In round two, they carded 22-over, 310, to put them in 15
th place. Stanford leads the field at 15 under. The top six teams after Thursday's final round make the match play portion of the tournament.
Lee highlighted the Mustang round with rounds of 74 and 73. She sits in a a tie for 18
th , up six spots in the middle round. The North Little Rock, Arkansas native has her season scoring average at 71.03, a program best. She will be in search of her 26
th top 20 showing of her three-year Mustang career.
Emily Odwin sat in 24
th after round one with her first round score of 74. She shot 79 in round two to move into a tie for 51
st. She eagled the 483 yard fifth hole, her second eagle of the season.
Celine Chen shot rounds of 78 and 79 to sit in a tie for 63
rd. Two shots back,
Jingan (Annie) Huang is in a tie for 66
th.
Amelie Kumar sits in 73
rd. Kumar eagled the par five 438 yard 10
th hole, her second collegiate eagle.
The Mustangs return for the final round of stroke play on Thursday with intentions on moving up the leaderboard.
